Membership in the Minnesota Chapter, like all Lambda Alpha International Chapters, is by invitation only. Current members are encouraged to nominate individuals with a minimum of ten years of experience who have excelled in their professional field.

Our interdisciplinary membership covers every aspect of land use-related professions.
Members are from fields including: Accounting, Appraisal, Architecture, Civil Engineering, City Planning, Construction, Economics, Education, Engineering, Finance, Historic Preservation, Housing, Landscape Architecture, Law, Real Estate Brokerage and Development, and Urban and Regional Planning.
To stay an active member, international and chapter dues of $320 are collected annually. Click here to renew your membership.

Nomination Process
Each year, we request nominations to Lambda Alpha International by having members propose candidates to the Board by filling out our nomination form. The Board reviews the applications for nominees proposed by LAI MN members and approves the candidates, assuming they meet all qualifications.
Once approved, new members will receive notification from the board, and their access to membership benefits will commence. An official induction ceremony takes place during our chapter’s Annual Meeting every fall, welcoming the new member class for the current year.
